Recent studies have shown that HIV prevalence among adults of the ages 15-49 in Uganda is now at 7.3%. This revelation is contained in the 2011 Uganda AIDS Indicator Survey (UAIS) conducted, from February to September2011 as quoted in a press release by the Ministry of Health recently.
